| Safeguarding and Club Welfare Officer
Creating fun, safe football environments is central to safeguarding children. Most children and young people have a fantastic experience through football – but sadly, some don't.
This might be down to over-competitive parents and coaches shouting and constantly criticising them from the sidelines. Or it might be due to some other kind of abusive behaviour towards them.
Safeguarding Children is everyone's responsibility and having a welfare officer at the club will help ensure the club:-
-
Creates a safe environment.
-
Promote clear systems policy and procedures to deal with any concerns.
If you do have any concerns regarding any of the issues above and would like to talk to the club welfare officer in confidence please contact Jo Batley on 01621 892385 or by email at welfare@beaconhillfc.co.uk
