Crozier Breaks Duck as Thirds Stroll to Victory
by Robert Smith
May 3: Jordan Crozier scored his first ever goal for the club in his 5 seasons with the adult sides accumulating over 150 appearances. He scored for the Thirds in an empathic 4-0 victory over E2V. It is understood to be the longest any player has gone without scoring for Beacon Hill. The relief of the goal for Crozier could be seen by all spectators & players alike. There was however one disappointed team mate whose wallet was a lot lighter come the end of the weekend. He also will be hoping he doesn’t go as long without a goal coming to the end of his Thirds season now. Elsewhere the reserves & firsts walked away disappointed with narrow defeats. Reserves losing 1-0 to fellow promotion chasers Great Baddow. The Firsts losing 3-2 to Southminster. The Vets suffered a heavy defeat at home to Great Berry Rangers. See team pages for full match reports.
