Mar 22: The Third team brought three points back from Halstead last Saturday, securing a narrow win over Marks Farm late in the game. This takes them up to third in the tight race for promotion in Mid-Essex Division 5. The First team had to settle for a draw away to UCC. The point however meant they gained ground on Southminster and Manford Way immediately above them in the Mid-Essex Premier Division. Durning move ahead of Beacon's Reserves in Mid-Essex Division 4 as they took three points from game at Wickham Bishops. Next week's game at Runwell is a chance to keep the pressure on their promotion rivals. The Ladies suffered a heavy defeat away to league leaders Redbridge. With key fixtures against Hawkwell and Assandun coming up, next week's friendly against Hutton offers a chance to regroup. See team pages for full match reports.
