Reserves shine, thirds dampened as weather plays havoc again

23rd January 2010 In another weekend of fixtures severely disrupted by the weather, many matches were again called-off. However, Bramston Sports Ground managed to escape the worst of the conditions and hosted two top-of-the-table men's matches. The RESERVES came from two goals down and grabbed a dramatic injury-time winner in their match against White Hart United. James Lewis' hat-trick helped to take Rovers top of the division at their opponents' expense. After taking a two-goal lead themselves against Shelley Royals Reserves, the THIRDS conceded twice in the second half and had to settle for a share of the points with their promotion rivals.
