FA Skills Coach works with Beacon Hill youngsters
by PCM
28 / 9 / 2009
The under 7s and under 9s were treated to a special session of coaching by one of the FA's new Skills Coaches recently. Paul Barry came along to the Hill and worked with our youngsters on a range of skills covering movement, passing, control, defence and attack. Almost 40 of Rovers' keen young players had a fantastic time, enjoying every minute of it, they put in 110% on another hot Autumn day and benefited tremendously from the player focussed approach adopted by Paul. Beacon Hill Rovers coaches were very grateful for Paul's input which was of the highest standard; they also took part in a full evaluation of the session to help the progress of the FA skills programme. Paul also enjoyed his visit to the Hill and said "I was impressed with the set-up of your club last week, and the overall attitude of the coaches. It was really first class and goes to show what a great job you all do with your players."
