	BHRFC Support 2009 Essex Soccability festival at Southend

	On Saturday afternoon, January 31st 2009, ten teams from across Essex competed in the Essex Soccability festival. BHRFC coaches work with teams based in Colchester and Witham who took part in the day. The weather was bright and sunny as the players enjoyed the top class astro facilities at Playfootball.net at Chase High School, Southend. A premiership and championship league were set up with fast pace games of 15 mins duration played. Both our teams did well, with Colchester getting to the semi finals. It was a great day out and thanks go to Hosts Leigh Ramblers and the Essex FA for organisation. More tournaments will follow in 2009. BHRFC provide coaching to players with learning disabilities at Witham astro on Wednesday and at Colchester Leisure Centre on Tuesday. This is part of our football in the community programme and is in partnership with North East Essex NHS.
